The opening ceremony, held at the Abd Saleh Air Force Base hangar in Malang, was attended by several high-ranking TNI AU officials, competition participants, and the media. The 2025 Photography Competition is open to all members of the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU), from all ranks and positions. Each participant can submit their best work in several categories determined by the committee, including:
Military Documentation Photography : Capture images depicting Indonesian Air Force operational activities, including training, routine activities, and special moments related to TNI AU duties.
Daily Life Photography of TNI AU Members : Photographic works that showcase the personal and human side of the lives of TNI AU members.
Nature Landscape Photography : Landscape photographs that showcase the beauty of the surrounding nature, especially those related to air and aircraft activities.
